Shelby Tinney, FNP-C, earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Nutritional Sciences and Nursing from Texas A&M University. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Shelby’s nursing experience spans intensive care, emergency medicine, orthopedics, transplantation, and medical-surgical care, giving her a broad foundation to support her patients’ needs. She is passionate about preventative health and believes in a patient-centered approach, advocating for her patients while encouraging healthy lifestyle habits. With her unique background in both nutrition and medicine, Shelby enjoys helping patients take practical steps toward long-term wellness.
Born and raised in a small town in Texas, Shelby has a special interest in rural health. She recently relocated to the Lillington area with her husband and their two daughters. In her free time, she loves traveling, reading, cooking, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.
