Misty Houston is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience. She graduated from CVCC in 2002 with an Associate Degree in Nursing and then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Appalachian State University in 2015. After a few years of working as a Nurse, Misty decided to further her career. In 2020, she graduated with honors from Gardner-Webb University with a Master of Science in Nursing, concentrating in Family Nurse Practitioner.
As a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and with experience in both family practice and urgent care, Misty is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health and providing education regarding their medical conditions through a patient-centered approach. She looks forward to helping her patients achieve their health goals.
On her off time, Misty enjoys spending time with her husband and their son. She also enjoys watching sports and spending time at the beach.
