Kelly Rich, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1998 and completed her Family Medicine residency at Atlanta Medical Center, a Level I trauma center. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has also served as a clinical educator, training resident physicians early in her career.
Kelly believes that true health encompasses the spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of life. Her philosophy is to partner with patients through support and education, emphasizing the prevention of medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Her clinical approach focuses on comprehensive, preventive care and the long-term management of chronic conditions. She practices evidence-based medicine while strongly encouraging lifestyle interventions, including proper nutrition and regular physical activity, to support overall health and disease prevention.
Originally from Georgia, Kelly relocated to North Carolina to be closer to her family and now resides in Sneads Ferry. Outside of clinical practice, she looks forward to joining a local church and enjoys walking, reading, and staying active in her community.
