I am a Person County native, born and raised, and I am proud to care for the community that helped shape me. I graduated from Piedmont Community College’s Associate Degree in Nursing program in 2012 and began my career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UNC immediately after graduation. After four years in the PICU, I transitioned to UNC Carolina Air Care, where I served as a Pediatric and Neonatal Flight Nurse for three years while earning my master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
While I valued the fast-paced environment of acute care, starting my own family led me to pursue a role in primary care. I have now practiced in primary care for seven years and truly enjoy partnering with families and watching my patients grow from infancy into young adulthood. I provide care for patients from birth through age 21 and am especially passionate about preventive medicine, believing that proactive care leads to better long-term health outcomes.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three sons. We love camping, boating, attending races, listening to live music, traveling, and spending as much time outdoors as possible with family and friends.
