Brittany Carothers, MSPA, PA-C

Brittany Carothers, MSPA, PA-C, is originally from Atlanta, GA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Biology, from the University of Georgia. She began her medical career in an orthopedic office before completing the Physician Assistant Program at South University in Savannah, GA, in 2016. Following graduation, Brittany gained experience in internal medicine, urgent care, and geriatric care at local nursing facilities.

Due to her husband’s service in the U.S. Navy, Brittany relocated frequently but ultimately settled in North Carolina with her family in 2021. Since then, she has continued practicing in urgent care and primary care and is now proud to be part of the Med First team.

Brittany is passionate about building strong patient relationships and guiding them toward lifestyle changes that support better health. She has a special interest in geriatric care and women’s health and has also served on medical mission trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.

She treats patients across all ages, from childhood through adulthood, and is skilled in a variety of procedures, including abscess drainage, splint placement, suturing, wound care, and trigger point injections. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys exploring local parks with her husband and their two daughters.
