Dear Patients,
We know that you and your family’s healthcare is very important particularly at this critical time. For this reason, we want to be sure that you know the facts about North Carolina’s Stay at Home order which was recently signed by Governor Roy Cooper. First and foremost, it does not affect your ability to continue to see your healthcare provider. The Stay at Home Order specifies that you can travel to seek essential activities. Essential activities mean any activities or tasks essential to you and your family’s health, safety or welfare. This includes activities such as obtaining medical supplies, medication or visiting a health care provider without any limitations. More importantly, since Med First is a Healthcare Provider we are EXEMPT from the closing order in North Carolina. All our 19 clinic locations will remain open to care for you, whether it is for urgent or primary care needs. This will allow you to keep your appointment or make a new one. For anyone that has or would like an in-clinic appointment, Med First has also taken the additional steps to raise our already high sanitation standards in all our medical clinics.
Please know that Med First remains committed and will work hard to ensure that we continue to provide accessible, convenient and quality healthcare to you and your loved ones. Your health and safety are our #1 priority! This is no time to put your healthcare needs aside or not to ask the questions that will put you at ease. By keeping ALL our clinics open, we hope that we make it easier for you to keep your appointment.
Additionally, Med First is now offering a TELEMEDICINE option where you can maintain your appointment within the comfort of your home. Some healthcare plans also offer the ease of keeping your provider appointment a simple phone call.
Again, remember that all healthcare appointments are EXEMPT from the North Carolina Stay at Home order. Med First stands ready to partner with you as we continue to fight through this healthcare crisis together. If you have any questions, please call your local Med First clinic today or go to our website at www.Thinkmedfirst.com to inquire about these additional services.
From our family to yours, please stay safe and stay healthy.
Your Med First Healthcare Team
