Nicola Lamb graduated from North Carolina State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology. She served underprivileged communities in the U.S., teaching second grade for two years with AmeriCorps’ Teach for America program before realizing her passion was in healthcare. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2017.
After two years in critical care at Duke University’s Medical Intensive Care Unit, Nicola joined the Rapid Response Team at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, where she cared for patients, visitors, and staff for three years. While working at Cape Fear, Nicola returned to school to obtain her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from East Carolina University. After graduating in July 2022, as a summa cum laude graduate, she joined Primary and Immediate Care of the Pines in Aberdeen, NC, where she provides individualized, patient-centered care to her patients.
Nicola lives locally in Southern Pines, NC, with her husband, two cats, and one dog. She is passionate about exercising, spending quality time with friends and family, and traveling with her husband.
Nicola accepts new patients and looks forward to working with them on their health goals.
