Ellyse Lamont, FNP-C, has worked in the medical field since graduating from nursing school in 1996.
Her extensive experience in healthcare includes working in cardiac care, the Emergency Department, and the VA Medical Center and teaching nursing students.
She noticed the need in rural communities for improved access to medical care, early disease detection and treatment, and a broader range of services that would provide a higher quality of life to underserved communities. After teaching for several years, she got her Master’s in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2017.
Both Ellyse and her husband are in the medical field. They love outdoor activities, especially the beach, so after visiting and falling in love with Topsail Island, they decided to move to the area in 2024.
Ellyse is looking forward to serving the Sneads Ferry and surrounding communities. She accepts new patients and is fluent in English and Spanish.
