North Carolina Phase Two: Stay at Home Order Lifted

As our state begins Phase Two of our COVID-19 reopening process, and we begin to resume normal activities, Med First would like to remind you that your health and safety remains a top priority for us. During this pandemic, we have taken steps to ensure your safety by implementing more frequent and stringent disinfecting processes, made curbside services available, created social distancing in waiting rooms as well as began to offer telemedicine and telephonic visits. We also continue to offer appointments as well as accept walk-ins at all locations for COVID-19 antibody testing and for active virus COVID-19 testing. Knowing your antibody status can help you make more informed decisions. Med First providers are here to help you get the information you seek at this critical time.

If you have been delaying your healthcare for chronic diseases or delaying preventative healthcare screenings, it is important you do not continue to put off your healthcare needs. Maintaining your health plays an important role in your body’s ability to fight off infection or illness. One of the best things you can do for your short and long-term health is to continue seeking care for chronic diseases as well as scheduling preventative health exams.

During the last eight weeks while social distancing and spending the majority of our time at home, our levels of physical activity, dietary choices, alcohol consumption or smoking habits may have unknowingly been taking a toll on pre-existing chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or lung diseases. We continue to work hard to maintain a safe and clean environment in all locations so that you can feel confident in making an appointment to see your Med First provider. If you have delayed making an appointment for any healthcare concern or if you want to follow up on the status of a pre-existing condition, please call to schedule an appointment or go on-line to request one at https://www.thinkmedfirst.com/appointments/.

Also, if you are just not sure about an in-person visit yet, for your convenience we also offer telemedicine appointments from the comfort of your home.

We welcome the opportunity to care for you and your family.
